25p 1/25th or 1/50 shutter

just a quick question, which is more ideal, shooting 25p at 1/25 or 25p at 1/50 , or higher , for weddings and so on??

Unless you have a probem with low light, I'd stick to 1/50 th sec. That's the standard shutter speed for 25p. If you what to add some motion blur or just need to keep the gain down, You might try 1/25 th sec. As always, give it a try, before it counts.
