HDR-FX7 help
Well Ive decided to go with the Sony HDR-FX7. And I'm going to purchase a fisheye lens for it. The Fisheye lens is 58mm and the hdr-fx7 is 62mm. Is there a ring that i can put on the hdr-fx7 that will let me use this fisheye lens. The lens is a Platinum Series 58MM 0.3X HD Super Fisheye Lens. Thanks

You have to buy a step up ring. It's like an adapter that has 2 different threads. Get one with a 58mm thread on one side and a 62mm on the other side.

That would be a step *down* ring. They are not the same.

While I haven't tried it, I would think that there would be a good chance of having vignetting if you used a 58mm fisheye on a 62mm lens. You would want to check it before spending your money, if possible.
