Where to get short xlr cable for V1U ?
Hi, I bought a rode mic and have been searching the web for a 15 inch xlr cable to no avail.
When I got the Rode I bought a 18 in cable and it's a little long. So if anyone knows a place to get a 15 inch cable, I'd appreciate knowing where. Thanks, Bill Carboni |

Sound Room
I just had much the same question, and someone at DVInfo steered me to SoundRoom's cables. I ordered the 1' cable, but see the email address at the bottom of the page for custom sizes:

This is the one that I use on my V1U:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...le_to_XLR.html I connect it and then coil-up and twist-tie the excess. It stays out of the way pretty nicely. I can email you a photo of my setup if you'd like to see it before you buy... let me know. Andrew |

B&H, Full Compass, Guitar Center...any of them either has it or can make it up for you. OR make your own. A couple of connectors, some cable and a soldering gun. Watch out..don't burn yourself ;-)
