Hard Drive Add-on for V1 - compatibility?

Hello. Apart from the Sony HVR-DR60, are there any other portable Hard Drive units that are compatible with the V1?

How reliable has the HVR-DR60 proved to be?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

don't know about the existing ones, but i'm looking forward to seeing the cineform product when it gets released....

this forum has a section for tapeless recording, check it out, the only one not on there is the


CitiDISK HDV

FW1256H by shining technologies, if its HDV it should work with the V1,
