Sennheiser mke 300 does not work on Sny HVR-V1E
Hi, please I need some help. I have a Sennheiser Mke 300 worked fine on my Sony 2100, now I got Sony HVR-V1E and an XLR adapter for the mic and it doesn't work at all. Does somebody have the same problem?

Don't have the mic but looked up specs.
Stupid questions first: Is a fresh/good battery installed in the mic? Is phantom power switch off at input to camera? Was phantom off first time you hooked it up? Not sure if any damage could have ocurred were it on. Jamie
