Sony VCL-HG0862K Wide Conversion Lens at DVinfo.net

hi guys

i am looking to purchase one of these: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ide_Angle.html

not to sure: is this a zoom through lens?

my other option, is a 16x9 Inc lens [ http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...ide_Angle.html ]

anyone had experience of using both of these on a V1 - all feedback appreciated

Bobby, I use the Sony wide angle lens on my V1E and it is indeed zoom through. There's a fair bit of barrel distortion at the widest angle, but if you avoid lamp posts, door frames and other vertical lines at the edge of your shots them it's acceptable.

The Sony lens hood that comes with their lens is huge, but I quite like it!
