FX-7 problems

We have a new FX-7 and I was using a Bogen / Manfrotto 521 Camera Remote Controller and the camera kept shutting down? Any one else have this problem?

Yes, it's been much discussed, I think just a few threads down. It's a known issue that Manfrotto will fix, I believe.

Just a thought.. I use and have used for a few years the Varizoom controller. It works great with my FX7 just as it did with my previous DVcam unit. Not sure if anyone is looking for the "prettiness" of the bogen or not, but I use the varizoom with my bogen setup..
