serial number
I'm trying to avoid getting burned on a long distance V1U purchase. Can someone verify that this number looks something like their V1U serial number, and possibly offer any other ways of verifying its authenticity?

yes, that's the right number of numbers... mine (purchased two months ago) begins with 111....
