VI's HDMI and component outs

Can't test this right now, so am asking anyone that has actually tested and knows for sure:

Are the HDMI and component outs both active at the same time on the V1?

yes, they are both active. So if by chance you were monitoring via component, you could still record via HDMI

Spot, I have another question for you, since you have many years of experience and have had contact with many, many cams:

Do you know, or do you have a list of HD(V) cams (professional and "high end prosumer") with HDMI outs and/or component outs?

I'm trying to fill in some gaps in my limited knowledge so I can make intelligent decisions and give useful answers to others. (I'm also trying to be careful with my questions). Sorry if I'm using this thread for other questions...
