Hvr-v1p 16.9
Is this little beauty true 16.9 as i cant seem to find any info which says it is.
Apart from this.... HVR-V1P=1920 x 1080. Recording format: 1080/50i, 576/50i (PAL) LCD monitor: 3.5-inch Clear Photo LCD plus , approx. 211,200 dots, hybrid type, 16:9 aspect ratio Can any one confirm it is? Regards Simon |

Hi Simon. Any camera which shoots High Definition is 16:9, it's part of the spec. So with the V1 you can shoot either HDV or regular DV, depending on the settings. You can also shoot HDV and use the camera to convert to DV as you capture over firewire. All of these will give you "real" 16:9.
