Hi,

I finished to build this unit :

2 x XLR mic input
1 x switch direct sound or preamp sound
2 x gain control for preamp
1 x stereo mini plug output
1 x Velleman Kit
1 x 9v battery
1 x Alu box (black painted)

I'm happy.

More details

Ok,

All what you need is this Velleman Kit
Good no noise, low price, dual portable preamp.

It's necessary to add :
2 potentiometers
1 mini female stereo jack
1 switch 3 ways
2 xlr female chassis plug
1 alu box (100mm x 40mm x 70mm) / (3.9 x 1.6 x 2.7 inches)

This unit can be used also in line input PC, to perform Voice Over or ADR.
It cost me 45€ (60 USD).

the plan :

Foucault, this is great. I've been wanting to put together one of these myself, but I'm no electronics expert. What flavor of audio taper pots are appropriate for this (what ohms, watt rating)?

Nice project. What was the cost as compared to something along the lines of the "juicedlink"?
