Need a 3rd camera HD1000U?
Hi, I need some advice regarding the HD1000U. I do outdoor weddings...plenty of light. I need an inexpensive third camera just as a cover shot for our other two HD cameras. The other cameras are a Z1U and an EX1. This 3rd camera will be a lock down.
Can anyone offer some info regarding picture quality of the HD1000U in bright sun? Is it similar to the Z1U in a well lit scene? I'm not concerned about a trained eye to notice side by side differences but rather a consumer eye as occasional intercut footage. Is there enough of a difference from the V1U to justify the cost difference 24p, etc, aside? Thanks so much, Craig |

I think in bright daylight you should be fine. I just finished a four-cam shoot with an FX1, two FX7s and the HD1000, and the latter was the odd man out. But this was in VERY low light in a theatre.
