HD1000 User manual available?

Is the manual available for download yet? I can't seem to find at Sony.

I've been searching doggedly for the past two days and haven't found it either. If you go to the consumer side Sony sends you to their pro site, which only has press releases, pdf brochures and specs, but no manual.

I think it's only been shipping for a few days now, so I hope we'll have the manual on line soon.

Spoke with Sony support. Unfortunately, user manuals for Pro products have to be purchased, as they don't typically have them available for download. Hopefully someone will post one soon.

Just click on the "Manage Attachments" button in the reply window.

Unless it's not available to you yet because you're new.

Sony HVR-HD100 Owners Manual for Download

Hello,
Im new here and just started my own Wedding Video Company.
I'm looking forward to using this camera and getting tips from some of you professionals out there.

In the meantime, here is a copy of the Manual that so many people have been asking for.

Thank you Johnnie.
The manual is easy to read, 10 pages would have been enough!

This camcorder has no function in manual mode, except one possibility with the ring. What does this camcorder at Sony-Pro?
This camera is for beginners ... with the fully automatic!
This camcorder costs € 2200 in France, it's a shame.
I let you bring to $!

Unfortunately, the manual for this camera looks no different than the manual for my HC7, except for the ring function. Basically, they took an HC7 and put it into the shoulder mount body. If it at least had gain control and a dedicated focus and zoom ring and at least a 12x lens, it would have been worth the price. As it is, I'll have to search for a better companion for my HC7 which is a very nice backup camera. This camera to me is a disappointment.
