Sony C Series HG Lens for 37mm Threads
Just noticed that the Sony Y series HG WA lens converter has been replaced by the C series - which is considerably more expensive.
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation Has anyone had any experience with this lens, or can anyone shed any light as to whether it is any better than the old Y series lens. One advantage is that it is half the weight, but this means nothing if the image is worse.

On Sony's japanese site the new "C" lens is listed at the exact same price as the "Y" lens.
So my guess is that maybe if the B&H price is a little higher than the price for the "C" lens, i think pehaps its just due to short supply or something. I think the "C" lens has literally only just in stock, so i doubt anyone's had any time to evaluate it. |
