Now listed at 1,299.00. Already dropping prices on this camera?? Hmmmmm........

Considering the price of the Canon HV20, it was bound to happen. JVC have already lowered the price of the HD7 by 100 dollars because of the HV20.
The V1u is already 4000 dollars at B&H because of the Canon XH-A1.

Canon is making sure camcorder prices from every manufacturer stay in check.

The HV20 is going to turn up the heat in this category. It supports mic input, and has 24p and cinematic gamma options...all for $1099.

I wonder how long it'll be until we see a 24p consumer cam from Sony.
