A1 discontinued?
IF the new HC7 outperforms the HVR-A1 in picture quality will Sony phase out the A1 or tinker with it...any inside info on this? Spotted Eagle maybe...
Aloha wz p.s. if they do improve it is there an estimated release date? |

HC7 specs does not show xlr inputs. I am sure the A1 will still be around. The HC5/7 seems to be the replacements for the HC3.

An A2 with the new 1920x1080 CMOS sensor of the HC5 and HC7 wouldn't be bad, only if they kept it the same price as the A1 though.

I hope they keep it around and add an hdmi port along with an improved cmos sensor and OSI. The stealth size of these cameras is really nice.
