Blue Screen at DVinfo.net

Hey all,

Ive had my HC3 for a couple of months, tonight when I was loading a tape I heard a funny sound while the tape was dropping into its posistion. Since that time I only get a blue screen upon playback. If I hold the fast forward or reverse the video appears (at higher speed) as soon as I return to normal playback I get the blue screen. It sounds like I have a head out of alignment now doesn't it? Any advice.

Did you run a cleaning tape through it yet?

Not yet, It was so immediate that I didn't think that cleaning would be an issue

Is there any specific kind of cleaning tape that you guys can recommend for the HC3?

I use a sony cleaning cassette DVM-12CLD.
