A1U/line in VF
Recently noticed a thin white verical line in viewfinder close to right side. It's not on lcd or on tape. Not a dealbreaker, but has anyone else noticed this? Camera is less than a month old and I don't think it was there.
thanks, chris |

I just checked and I don't seem to have it.
Is it on the border or a little more inward? |

thin line
Don't have one on mine. If new, I'd return it. Too much money for even minor defect IMO. Is on LCD panel AND the eyepiece finder? If in only one place, likely that component is defective.

VF line is still there
As stated before, the line is faint and only noticable in lower light situations. Outdoors I can't find it. Indoors against a plain wall I can maybe see it.
the line runs verically from about the colon btw. the seconds and the frame numbers of TC in upper right of frame to about the "E" in "P-MENU" in lower right of frame. I've seen these kinds of white lines on other camera vf's before, some worse than others, but I would only be concerned if line got worse than it is now. chris |
