Import and edit in HD using Cineframe 24?
Hey guys...there seems to be a lot of talk about the hardware but very little about software (maybe because I'm in the wrong forum?)
Anyways, I have a student bought license for Premiere Pro 2.0 and importing HD is very slow. What are some of the ways to import and edit in HD while still keeping the look of Cineframe 24 down? Are there certain programs? (I read about Aspect HD but at $500, I'll have to take out another student loan) Also, once the footage is imported into the computer, will Premiere Pro be able to edit it properly without it skipping? I have an Athlon 64 3200 with 2GB RAM so I don't think the computer will be too slow (or will it?) And finally, if shooting in Cineframe 24 isn't the greatest idea, how about shooting in 60i then converting to 24p? Whats the best (and cheapest) conversion method? Thanks guys!! |
