Export To Tape. Not Working i Premiere pro
I use Adobe Premiere Pro 1,5 and now i got Sony HC1E camcorder. Try to export to tape.
But if you look in the monitor view: http://home.c2i.net/arvekvalehansen...20to%20tape.JPG I only got blue screen on the camcorder and some time I got 2-3 sec of the movie. I also used Sony PC330 but same. I have used Windows movie maker and Pure motion Edition5 and this export to tape. Hope someone can help me. |

The correct URL should be http://home.c2i.net/arvekvalehansen/...0to%20tape.JPG
Adobe have mentioned some problems with HC1. Maybe you can export an avi-file and then use Moviemaker to export to tape.

I see the same picture on the camcorder like in timeline. But when hit space to do a play in timeline it take 2-3 sec before the the LCD on camcorder became blue. Komming REC. When stop the timeline. Picture where stopped is on the camcorder again.
Now problem capture. 0 dropped frames. |

Now I tried more. PPro 1.5.1 is still the same. But in Windows movie maker and Pure motion Edition5 I got 60 sec movie so 4 sec blue, then 20 sec movie, 5 sec blue and so.
I have problem with both Sony HC1E and Sony PC330. Can it be the computer? Have AMD XP1700 (1,46GHz with 3X512MB DDR). Also done a Export movie to harddrive with rendering. But same problem. Takes it more of my computer back to camcorder. Now Droppet frame on capture. |

Are you working with HDV or regular DV? I did a test with Cineform AspectHD avis and couldn't export from Premiere or their application. I also tried with Sony Vegas which worked perfectly. Are you outputting DV or HDV? It might be that your camera is set to the other alternative...

I am having the same issues - In PPro 2.0 it says to go to Project->Settings->General, click Playback settings and select a playback setting. In the export area, only "None" is available in the "External Device". I have had no problems capturing from my HC1 but cannot export a completed video back to the camera. I am working with HDV video and must admit the settings as described in the Sony manual have me somewhat confused in setting up to record back to the camera.
Would appreciate very much any tips or suggestions frompeople who are using the HC1. Carl White |

Make sure the TV type is 16:9 and iLink HDV/DV Convert is OFF. These should take care of it. When the camera is connected to the computer and in play/edit mode, does the LCD read "iLInk HDV 1080i IN" ? If not, either the timeline or the camera don't have the proper settings. Are you able to use the camera as an external preview monitor for Premiere Pro timelines?
