Does the HC1 have analog to digital conversion?
I was wanting to use my HC1 to convert some old VHS tapes to DVD, and I don't find any setting for analog to digital conversion. I know this is not the ideal camcorder to be using for this, but I would like to know if it's possible. Also does anyone know of any stand-alone converters that work well with Mac OS X Tiger? Thanks.

yet again, nil. that would still require an a/d converter. the hc1/a1 can do dv-in, thats it.

I've got an ADS Pyro A/D converter which works well in Tiger & FCP - it was about $130 at CompUSA.
