I think I figured it out...
It's really quite late, i should be in bed, but FCP is too addicting.
I think i figured out a way to get a better 24p look out of my HC1. I shot in 60i with no special things going on, captured in 1080i60. Brought my clips into a 1080i50 HDV sequence. Then outputed using the DV NTSC 48Khz - 24 setting which could easily be the HDV or DVCPRO HD 1080i60 preset changed to have a 24 frame base. I'll shoot some footage later on to test this out. Bring on the criticism... :-) |
