HC1 Sloooooooooow Zoom cheat

Some were complaining about the zoom not being slow enough

here's a workaround;

1 select shot trans

2 operate zoom rocker

zoom times of 60 secs or more possible with deftness and adeptness

You are the man.
Very slow.
One thing to keep in mind.
It automatically turns off steadyshot.

...so why would you want a very slow zoom on a handheld shot?
Stick it on a tripod and do it properly. :-)

I do not get it. Select SHOT TRANS? It does not work for me. What do I have to do exactly?

Jaime
Put the camera in tape mode.
Go to main menu.
Go past "Camera set" menu into "Pict. Appli." menu.
Scroll to shot trans and select ok.
You are now ready to shoot and slooooow zoom.
(remember the steady shot was turned off... so tripod it)

Thanks Chaz,

That is what I had done, I just did not realized that by slightly touching the rocker you could get much slower zooms, which is what you ask for really.

Thanks again
