Carrying handle via hot shoe...

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there exists a carrying handle that can be attached via the hot shoe. Most professional camcorders have this carrying handle on top of the camcorder and I believe that I would use it often to get some of the low shots that I want. I don't know if I recall correctly, but I think I saw one for the GS400 and I was wondering if there is anything out there that can be used with the A1. It would be nice if the handle has an additional shoe on top of it so that I can still use the audio module.

Help is appreciated...

I can't imagine anything inserted into the AIS being able to support the weight of the camera. Maybe you can rig up some sort of C bracket to attach to the tripod mount?

I didn't mean to attach it to the AIS. I meant to have it attached to the shoe found on the A1.

It's ok. I have been looking and haven't found anything. I guess there isn't one available. Figured someone here might be able to help?
