HVR A1E and the HVR-MRC1
Hi All,
Has anyone used the above Memory Recording Unit (that comes with the Sony Z7) with the A1E? The Sony site says they are compatible but doesn't mention what interface is required. Thanks Alok |

Re: HVR A1E and the HVR-MRC1
Just use regular firewire. Not sure if the MRC that comes with the Z7 includes the cradle and shoe adapter to attach the unit to the cam, but if not you'll have to figure out an alternative mounting solution. The Z7 manual shows the cradle but not the shoe adapter or cable, which you could buy the equivalents for elsewhere.

Re: HVR A1E and the HVR-MRC1
Thanks for the response.
The cradle has a 6pin firewire but the A1 has a 4pin. I will hunt around for a shoe adapter and a cable. |
