Sony HDV Solutions tour
On September 16th, the Sony HDV Solutions Tour, powered by VASST, will be in Toronto. A full day of Vegas training follows. See the HVR Z1U and the HVR A1U in action with all the HDV peripherials, and how Sony Vegas software manages it all. Lotsa hardware and software tools to be shown. (it's a no-cost evening event)
Also, on August 22nd, B&H is sponsoring a Music in the VIdeo Edit suite event, focused around Sony ACID software, taught by Jeffrey Fisher more info here- http://www.vasst.com/registration/ Hope to meet some of you there, eh? :-)

Whoops, so busy working/travelling the last month... just wanna say that Sony HDV Tour stop in Toronto last month.... ROCKED!!!!
It was amazing. I hope VASST comes back to Toronto again.... |

We do usually bring the tours to the San Francisco/Palo Alto/Redwood City area, but this time with the holidays so close, we had to be a bit more frugal on our dates, and unfortunately, we won't be bringing the tour to the SF area this year. It has been talked about for spring, but I'm not sure what'll come up.
Burbank is as close as we'll get for this one, sorry!

I attended the hdv vasst Chicago training and certification event last friday, wasn't at the open house on thursday.
I had high expecations for the day given the knowlegable background of the presenters, Douglas Spotted Eagle and Heath McKnight. There was some great information presented and any questions that were not covered in the formal presentation were answered during the breaks during informal conversations with Spot, Heath and the other vasst reps. If you get the chance attend the seminar. Also, will be looking for other vasst events in the Chicago area. |
