HVR-A1U 24 hour clock only?
I have a job that requires me to record the time and date on my video in a 12 hour (am pm) mode.
When I'm setting the time it shows a 12 hour clock, but when I quit out of the set up menu the camera defaults to a 24 hour clock. Is there a way to record date/time with a 12 hour clock? |

You might just have to change the time at midday so that it just shows the first twelve hours of the clock, then change it back at midnight. With the 24-hour clock, it doesn't say am or pm, so no-one would know - unless it is important.
I just wish the date/time display wasn't quite so prominent in the screen - somewhere more descreet in a corner, or at the top or bottom, would be better.
