Problem: Blue Colors are Green
The strangest thing... Suddenly one day my A1U started showing the color blue as lime green. The other colors don't look unusual. I was able to color key the footage in post and switch the green back to a blue and the footage then looked tolerable.
The camera is sitting on the shelf at Armato's Pro Video right now wating to get fixed but did anybody ever hear of such a thing? I haven't heard back yet from Armato's on what the problem turned out to be. They say I should hear next week. |

Sounds like a blown chip. Not common but not unheard of.

Problem was dianosed: bad imaging chip. Armatos could not fix it so they sent it to Sony. Bill to fix including shipping: $920. :(
