Portable HDD DTE drives
Hi
Can anyone advise on buying portable DTE drives? I'm planning to buy one to use with my Sony A1 and wonder whether to go for a Firestore FS-4HD or Sony's DR60. I've read reports of Firestore's fan being noisy and that the build quality of Sony's DR60 isn't that great, so I'm not sure what to go for. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks Alan |

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but can I get portable HDD solution for my HC1 too? I was always under the assumption I couldn't get anything like this for my HC1.
Although now maybe I shouldn't since I just got a Canon XH-A1 (which should be arriving today). I think the big tapeless solution for that is the ability to record to memory card which should be out soon (discussion here: http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/canon-xh-...non-users.html). But I'm still curious.
