HDR-HC1 Repair Experience (Good News)

Had cracked LCD screen, otherwise functional.
Cost $565 total (all inclusive), but manifest indicates:
TP BLOCK ASSY 27STG 8 0 9 9 - F 1 1 N / / C
CONSTANT MECH BREAKAGE REPLACED PARTS
So perhaps they found more than just a busted LCD?

Anyway, I was stunned that the whole process from outbound shipping from FLA to Texas to return to my door took just 10 days, including a weekend. Just tested the unit, it's working fine. Kudos!! THANK YOU SONY!
