I am on youtube with my new HDR-HC7
Finally, I got the imprt video part work. This is how I did:
- Purchase a Firewire card and install into my Dell PC - Then import the file from tape to PC. - Download the Sony Vegas Pro 8.0 Trial (for 30 days) and play with it. - I use the Rode Videomic for test recording. My question is: Is there anyway I can make the video quality sharper and crispier? Or because you loose quality when you post on line, ie Youtube..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Krb6EmGUbU What can I do to make it better next time. Really appreciate all your inputs. --JT |

John, you will lose picture quality on Youtube. You might do a search of the archives as there have been a few threads on the best approach.
Your video could be improved generally in a couple of different ways. First, better lighting would make a big difference. Second, if you put the mic close and recorded for sound only you would have a better soundtrack to work with. Third, if you recorded a couple more takes from different angles and with closeup shots you would have more to work with and could produce a more interesting video. Keep at it! Good work! Curt |
