Teleconverter for HC-1
I just wanted to share some nice experience I got today.
I was into the local Photo store and find a nice tele-converter on Sale that originally was exclusively for the Canon Pro 1 ( digital still camera ) Anyway thanks to the Sony HC-1 ( A1,H3,H5 etc.. ) small format the 10x zoom is not always enough, so a good teleconverter is always nice, but they have almost always vignettes and barrel distortion when zoomed out+black corners. But I found this tele-converter; Canon TC-DC58A. It´s a heavy piece of glass feels really high quality. It´s 58mm so I use a 58-37mm ring. But I have to be a little careful with the weight / camera momentum. It had cost something around $190 but I got it for $70 new! Since the very fast developing digital still picture cameras comes with really nice exclusive "candy" options that probably not going to work with the next version.. these very nice assesories become "bench warmers" so I could get a very nice tele-converter; that NOT vignette when zoomed out! Thats great if you need to have it on... it´s tele but no barrel... Would work on most 37mm and 43mm too... I have just looked through the lens yet and it looks great! Nice little backup option or as a perfect small travel gear. Nice! It´s this one; but here it´s not on sale but still a nice piece of glass; http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...rter_Lens.html Just wanted to share.
