MRC1K and Remote Commander
Hi,
I just bought a MRC1K memory recorder for my Sony Z5E, but if I use the play button on my remote commander (the remote control that is shipped with the camera) it won't play files from the MRC1K. I can't seem to use the knobs on top of the camera either (below the LCD screen). Do I have to use the knobs on the MRC1K to control this unit, or is there an option in the menu of the camera that I've overlooked? |

Re: MRC1K and Remote Commander
This is just a guess, but I think the buttons on the cam and the remote are for tape playback, and if you want to play back from the card you must use the buttons on the MRC. However, if you set EXT REC CTRL to EXT ONLY, it's possible the cam buttons might control playback from the MRC.

Re: MRC1K and Remote Commander
No, I have already tried that.
Only the record-button allows me to control the MRC1K, all other buttons like PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, FF and REWIND are not usable with the MRC1K to my knowledge. |
