Transcend 16gb 133x not compatible with Relay record record

Over the last year on the odd occasion I've used the Relay function to record to card during a tape change I've never successfully imported the clips into FCP via log and transfer. There are always 2x M2T files, which I an join and convert using a Mac util (MpegStreamClip) but the Sony plug-in 1.1.1 and FCP7 fails every time. Otherwise the Transcend 16gb seems to work well enough in synchronous or ext only modes.

Having finally got some Sandisk 16gb cards I tried relay and transferred fine, so I conclude Transcend 133x 16gb is the source of my problems. I have raised my concerns with our pro dealer previously about why they don't supply Sony CF - I'm not concerned about saving a buck on media - reliability is my priority.
