Hi,

Forgive my ignorance but will that work with the XL2 and record composite video? We need something that can record at the XL2 quality after passing through a GPS overlay unit.

Hi John. The MRC1 input is firewire only. If you need to record composite video this is not the device for you. However if you want to record from the XL2 via firewire it will work fine.
