Mixing it up in XDCAM HD 24p Timeline
I am shooting one client's project in 24p XDCam HD, editing using Final Cut. At times I might want to throw in some 1080i HDV footage, maybe also some 1080i footage from XDCam HD, and keep a 24p look.
The result isn't bad if I just drag the 1080 into the 24p timeline -- but it could look a bit smoother. Any ideas on how to best integrate? Would some type of effect software help?

Update to FCS2. It can mix different formats/codecs on the same timeline.

If you're talking about making the 60i look like 24p and then mixing, you just have to do a conversion on the 60i with a Nattress plug or something...which would take eons unfortunately.
