Hi there

Could someone help me....I'll be going to London very soon and I am trying to find some shops where I could have a look and buy gear(microphones,tripods,lighting kits etc)....something like BH PHOTOVIDEO in New York....

there is no similar place to be honest. lots of smaller operators...mitcorp have most gear and are quite big...make an appointment and ask to see specific gear and they will get them ready for you

Proactive have served me well. I have used Mitcorp too, but preferred the service from Proactive.

You might be better buying some things from BH at the monent, as the dollar is very cheap against the pound (beware import tax)
