We just got a new 330, what do we need to know?

We just got a new 330 where I work and was looking for advise/suggestions about set ups, scene files and the like. The camera will be used primarily for commercial and promotional work at a small market tv station. What are some of your experiences with this cam? How well does it green screen? Any other helpful tricks or hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Best advice is to start reading the threads in this forum. Lots of owner experiences in the last year and some links at the top to explore.

Congratulations,

Whenever I'm diving into something new that's video/DV related, I find the appropriate forum here in DV Info, and go back about a year.

From there, I read each and every thread that piques my interest. I find usually that any and every question I have has already been brought up and answered. I'll do this for about 2-3 nights straight, and by the end I'll feel like I've read an encyclopedia.

I realize that it might not be so fun at first, but after a while you get the hang of figuring out which threads are junk, and which will have good info almost before you even open them.

i'd suggest that you send it to roger macie and have it tweaked and have the macie setups and lens files installed.
