The big difference between the F330L and the F350L?
Hello,
I have been watching around here and in other boards to find a camera setup thats interesting for me. After thinking and testing of HVX-200/Ps-Technik or XL-h1/Pstechnik setups I decided to go another way an towards an XDcam HD. Could you please tell me the big difference between the two cams? What i see is that the 350 has SDI, a more beautiful color, a better viewfinder. the 330 has not got the frame accumulation and variable framerate stuff? Thats it? I am considering to buy the 330L with the 2" viewfinder. Is there any good reason to spend 8k€ more for the 350L, because i do not need the hdSDI? Thanks a lot for you help, Robert Eder |

If you don't need HDSDi and overcrank then saving the money is a good option. You are wise to get the 2" viewfinder. I just spent 3 days using a F330 with 1.5" VF and it was horrid.

Working with a 330 + 2" viewfinder I find the component output of the 330 very handy. You can plug in to many screens and beamers directly.
In theaters and conferences I use a Samsung SyncMaster monitor/tv as monitor, it is sharp, 1440x900 px, cheap and helps you easily focus in poor lit situations. |
