B camera
We have a project coming up that we will be shooting on a 330. We will have a few tight spots and situations which require a smaller camera for some setups. Does anyone have any suggestions for a camera for these shots? Has anyone cut HDV footage from a Z1 in with footage from a 330 or 350? I am guessing at the moment that this footage will probably make up about 10 to 20% of the finished project.
Thanks for the time Kyle |

We have been using our 350 and Z1U together to produce a weekly broadcast piece in SD and have found they work very well together in that situation. We shoot in HD with both cameras, down convert to SD from the cameras, edit in FCP and output to Betacam SP for delivery to broadcaster. Have a Century WA on the Z1U which also helps in tight locations.

The Z1 seems like a good match but if you are going to shoot 24P (23.98), check out Sony's new HVR-V1U, it is even a better match and (I think) slightly less expensive.
