They are both replicas built for "Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines" However the collection also fly a 1908 Bleriot which is the oldest flying aircraft in the world and a 1912 Blackburn Monoplane which is the oldest flying British Aircraft.
I'm making a docco about the collection at the moment. |

I forgot to mention that the footage is not graded at all.
Not sure what the lens was exactly but it's Alisters camera so he'll be able to answer that. |

Excellent---beautiful camera work. What are you using for a tripod--the pans were incredibly smooth.

I've been filming aircraft for 10 years! Can't remember exactly what Alisters tripod is but it's a very lightweight one. The beauty of the venue is the aircraft are just a few yards away so you don't have to use the long end of the lens too much.
Now shooting Jets flying at 400mph on HDCam using a J40 with the extender in, that's hard work! |

Lens was a Canon KH20x6.4, Tripod Vinten Fibertec legs with Vinten 5 head. Cinegamma 3.
