PDW-F350 in Studio Environment
Has anyone used the PDW-350 switched live in a studio environment? I just started looking for a reasonable priced solution for a HD three camera studio setup, and most of the cameras I am finding are $50,000 and up. I see that Sony makes a studio type viewfinder and a remote control unit for the cameras, the PDW-350 even has an HD-SDI out. Is there something I am missing here? Please let me know if I am going down the wrong path.

Not that this should be your only criteria, but it's been noted that the HD-SDI output of the F350 is decimated to 4:2:0.
The new $26k Panasonic might be one to look at too.

That's what I was trying to say. HD-SDI single link by definition is 4:2:2, otherwise it's not HD-SDI :-)
