Has the PMW 500 been discontinued?
As per the title, some people are saying this is the case. But some official Sony suppliers are still stocking/selling the model here in the UK, but other websites abroad are saying discontinued, etc.
Can anyone officially shed some light on this?? |

Re: Has the PMW 500 been discontinued?
As far as I know it has not been discontinued. For many users the new PMW-450 offers a better feature set, 10 bit XAVC, easy interface to the new streaming/proxy box etc. But the PMW-500 is the only solid state 2/3" CCD cam being produced by Sony and many still insist on CCD.

Ok thanks.
I presume you mean the PMW 400 not 450? |
