How best to shoot black and white with the PMW 320?
Could someone tell me if it's possible to shoot in black and white with the PMW 320? I've looked through the user manual but can't find any reference to such a setting in the menus (that's probably just me). Or is it better to shoot in colour and desaturate during post production in FCP? Are there any tips you could give me to shoot for black and white in the best quality, especially "night" scenes and candle light? We will probably film most night scenes day for night but there are a lot of interiors with minimal natural lighting so we will use spot lights. I presume if it's possible to shoot B&W directly via the camera white balance shouldn't be necessary indoors or out?
Many thanks Simon

I do not find any setting for B&W in the PMW320. You could of course desaturate the image by adjusting the different settings in one of the matrixes, but that's a lot of work... Doing it in FCP will be the more efficient way, I suppose.
