Clip Number in VF.. can't get rid of it. PDW-700
On firmware version 1.63 I have the clip number showing in the viewfinder in the top center of the frame (where you need to see to judge head room!) I have gone through two pages of the VF info menu and it does not appear as an option to include/ exclude. There is one menu item for clip number, but it is followed by (pb) so does not effect VF when shooting. Anyone have an idea how to dial this out? I can turn off all screen info, but I like to have some info showing when I shoot... WB most importantly. I am going to install firmware 1.71 today and see if they caught it.
Thank you, George |

Got rid of Clip Name ..
I updated to Ver 1.71 and saw some options on menu page 3 for VF that I don't remember seeing before. First two items on VF page 3 control display of clip name in viewfinder. Success...

on versions before you have to switch it off in the disc menü (backside of camera, shift - disc menu)
