EX1 files to USB drive
I have just used the EX1 for the first time. I have the thumbnails on my clip browser and I have copied all of them to my local drive. I need to get them onto a USB drive. What is the best way to do this ?

Hi,
if you keep the original folder structure (of the SXS cards) and copied all of it, you can copy everything into a "Card1" or "DATE XY" folder on a USB drive. You won´t face FAT limitations since the SXS cards already divided long shots into smaller pieces. With the folder on the USB Drive you can use XDCAM EX Browser or XDCAM Browser (or XDCAM transfer) to view or transfer files into other formats or NLEs (if they cant open the mp4s directly). Its helpful to use a copytool that controls if ALL bits & bytes were copied correctly. ULi |
