? How to output letterboxed from PDW700 composite output?
I have some HD material that I want to burn on a DVD. How do I output letterboxed composite? "Squeeze" and "Crop" do what they suggest but I don't find a "letterbox" menu choice.
On Sony's product detail page for the 700 Sony Product Detail Page PDW700 it says: Aspect Ratio Control The following conversion is possible in recording mode: Upconversion from SD to HD In the downconversion process from HD to SD, Squeeze / Edge Crop / Letter Box are available. ALL MENU 049 LETTERBOX: ENABLE
then OUTPUT Menu: Crop / Squeeze / Letterbox if the general Letterbox parameter is disabled, the cam doesnt offer letterbox output. regards ULI |
