Help importing F350 footage to FCP?
HI folks,
My school just got new F-350's and we shoot some footage this weekend on it. Unfortunately, the rest of our workflow (edit suites, servers, etc) aren't setup yet and we haven't gotten any training on them yet. So I need to know how to get the footage from the XDcam software into FCP. I tried exporting the clips as MXF's but FCP doesn't seem to read it. VLC will play back the MXF's though so I know they work. I'm honestly clueless right now, I haven't had any time to play with the software at all Oh I should mention the transfer software is on a computer separate from the edit suites, idk if that makes a difference |

Thanks! I was looking on Sony's site last night for something like that but I must've skimmed right past that.
