XDCAM codec
I imported some rushes as .mov using XDCAM transfer on the mac and handed them over only to find the client can't view them at all...
is there no way to install the XDCAM codec on the mac so they can be viewed in either after effects or quicktime? |

You need final cut pro installed to get the codec on a Mac. There are other codec packs for Quicktime that might work, but that is your best bet.
