350 VF/Display & Memory
Having newly acquired the PMW 350 and working in HD for the first time...having worked in Beta SP since the beginning of SP and Oxide tape...I have a question or 4. I've garnered some very useful information from this site and forum pariticularly around scene file structure. I've incorporated some of the info around various settings for gamma and detailing i.e. Alister Chapman. My question.
1. Once I have selected/executed my scene file, (previously stored in the camera memory) say #1 "General Look", does the camera retain that selection once I have powered down? My reason for asking is when I go back into the scene file settings, having powered up, I notice that the BOX indicator for my #1 General Look is no longer "filled in". 2. Is there a setting in VF/Display that allows me to select what my Scene File selection is, say "SF#1" or "General Look", or whatever, so I can see what I have selected in my VF? 3. Does the camera retain my previous manually adjusted white balance that I set in either "A" or "B" select, once I power down? 4. Status Menu doesn't allow to manually input what info I need or don't need. Obviously a camera default that indicates general camera status only. Or am I wrong here and haven't fully investigated my options? Thanks, Mike |
